The illustrations first caught my eye being bright but slightly muted, softer than many books for little ones and that appealed. Then I turned to the words and smiled straight away as I began to read. They cry out to be read aloud; in fact it is hard not to do so even when you are on your own reviewing! Told in delightful rhyme, the story of creation becomes fun and reader and the little one are going to enjoy this book over and over again.
